Quick tour
Sign in to Pi Durable Platform, find your way around the console, deploy an agent from the catalog, test it and call it from an app.
This tour follows a team owner at Example Corp, whose Pi Durable Platform runs at https://agents.example.com. The names in the screenshots are made up.
Open the platform and choose Sign in with single sign-on. It sends you to your company's identity provider. Your administrators may limit sign-in to some groups of people; if you're refused, ask them.
Home
Home has an Agents card, with links to All agents and the Catalog, and lists Your teams with your role in each. Platform admins and auditors also see a Platform administration card that opens the admin pages. If you aren't on a team yet, Home says so and, when your administrators set one up, links to where you request a team.
The sidebar has three parts:
- The workspace: Home, All agents (every agent of every team you're on) and Catalog (the templates every team can deploy).
- The team switcher: choose Personal (your personal workspace) or one of Your teams. The team's pages follow: Overview, Agents, Templates, Models, MCP servers, Usage, Service accounts and Team settings. You see the pages your role allows.
- Your name at the bottom opens your account menu: Profile, API keys, Connected apps, the colour theme, help (if your administrators set a link) and Sign out.
Deploy an agent
Open Catalog and pick a template. Its Overview shows the instructions of its current version; Versions lists every version.
Choose Deploy agent. Pick the team, give the agent a name that is unique in the team, and optionally choose another model the team may use. Deploying needs the editor role or above.
The agent opens on its Test tab. Send a message. The first one wakes the agent, which takes a few seconds; after that, replies stream in.
Test it
The Test tab is a chat, the same conversation an app would have. Conversations are durable: they survive reloads, restarts and hibernation. New chat starts another thread. On a team's agent you choose whether a new chat is Shared or Private. See Testing an agent.
Use it from an app
The agent's Overview tab has a Use it from your app card with the requests an app sends: one agent per user of the app, send a message, follow the conversation. An app calls them with a service account key, or as a person who connected it with OAuth Connect. Start with Build apps.
Watch what it costs
Usage shows the team's model requests and tokens per day, model or agent, with an estimated cost when platform admins have set the models' prices. See Usage.
